5 absconders arrested

MIRPURKHAS, Dec 28: The Mirpurkhas district police have arrested five absconders.

Those arrested were identified as Khan Mohammad Tungri, Munno Tungri, Dil Mohammad Tungri, Mohammad Kumhar and Ghulam Rasool.

CONSUMERS: Electricity consumers have alleged the line superintendent of Hesco, Hirabad sub-division, is threatening them with disconnection of power supply if they do not pay him bribe.

Talking to newsmen on Saturday, their representatives said the line superintendent, Industrial Feeder, Abdul Waheed, had been extorting money from them.

They said they would stage a protest demonstration if the authorities concerned did take notice of the matter.
