HYDERABAD, Dec 28: The chairman, board of governors, Cadet College Petaro, Vice Admiral Irfan Ahmed has assured that he will do his best to help resolve problems of the college.

He was speaking at the 41st parents day, held at the college near here on Saturday.

Ahmed gave prizes to the cadets for excellent performance in academics, sports and the co-curricular activities.

He congratulated the prize winners, specially Faisal Dildar, Mohammad Saleem and Arsalan Alam for securing first and second positions in the intermediate examinations, and Faisal Jaffar, Naveed, Abid Ali and Taufeeq Murad for securing first, second and third positions in the matric examinations.

He also congratulated chief cadet captain Mohammad Saleem for winning the stick of honour and best appointment holders award, Wasay Mohiuddin for being the best sportsman of 2002, Ziaur Rahim for getting special prize and Faisal Jaffar for winning the badge of honour.

He also congratulated the Latif division for being the champion for 2001-2002 and Iqbal division for being runner up.
