KARACHI, Dec 28: The Sindh Culture and Tourism Department has released the first instalment of stipends for artists, writers and poets for the year 2002-2003.
The notified recipient of stipends in Karachi have been asked to contact the office of the assistant director for accounts, 3rd floor, Tughlaq House.
Those belonging to Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Badin and Thatta have been advised to contact the officers concerned at the Sindh Provincial Museum in Hyderabad.
The recipients from Mirpurkhas, Sanghar and Tharparkar should contact at the Sindh Government Library, Mirpurkhas; those from Sukkur and Khairpur at the Sachal Sarmast Library, Khairpur; those from Larkana, Shikarpur, and Jacobabad at Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Library, Larkana; and for Dadu district at Allama I. I. Kazi Library, Dadu.—APP
