Columnist Tauseef Khan dies

KARACHI, Dec 26: Tauseef Ahmed Khan, a senior journalist and well-known columnist, breathed his last in a Lahore hospital on Thursday.

He had been ailing for some time. He was buried at 8pm in Lahore.

Mr Khan was the younger brother of literary writers Hajra Masroor and the late Khadija Mastoor, and brother-in-law of Ahmed Ali Khan, Hasan Abidi, Wahabul Khairi and the late Zaheer Babar. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and two daughters.

He had been associated with various daily newspapers, including Hurriyet, Mashriq, Pakistan and Din.
