Ahmad scores twice

KARACHI, Dec 23: Ahmad Sultan scored twice in Natha Khan Union’s 6-0 victory over Bacha Khan in the qualifying round of All-Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto football tournament on Monday.

Ejaz Ahmad, Nadir Ali, Pervez Sultan and Mohammad Ali scored one goal each to complete the rout.

At Al-Hudad ground, Sabhira Baloch beat Shahadad Mohammadan 1-0. Mohammad Malik netted the goal on the pass of Abdul Rashid in 18th minute.

At the same ground Young Jamal defeated Rehbar Sports 2-1. Mohammad Rashid and Abdul Ghafoor scored the goals for the winning side.

Jamal Mohammadan outplayed Sultanabad Union by two goals at Bilal Mujahid Stadium. Muhammad Ashraf scored both the goals.

At Young Muzaffarabad ground, Jalal Murad beat Pak Heroes 2-0. The winners scored through Mohammad Hussain and Amjad Majeed.

Malir Young Boys beat Gulshan Sports by identical margin.

In other matches, Shahzad Mohammadan beat Shaheen Sports 10-4, Feature Start defeated Baloch Brothers 3-2 on penalty shootout.

At Jamkindha Stadium, Al-Shahad beat Moosa Eleven 2-0, Malir Reds beat Jorak Memorial Club 2-0, Malir Student beat Young Baloch Start 2-0 and Murad Bukhsh beat Mohammad Ali 2-0.—APP
