Sherpao asked to upgrade grid station

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 23: A delegation of the Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao) workers, that called on the Federal Minister for Water and Power, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, in Peshawar on Sunday, demanded that  the grid stations in the district should be upgraded to meet the consumers’ needs.

The delegation, which was led by the PPP (Sherpao) provincial council member, Haji Islam Gul, also included the district Naib Nazim, Arifullah Khan Minakhel.

They informed the minister about the problems faced by the people  in the rural parts of the district at the hands of Wapda officials.

They also discussed party matters with Mr Sherpao.

The party workers also demanded of the minister to order the resumption   of work on Darra Tang feeder which was left incomplete some ten years back.
