Couple butchered
RAJANPUR, Dec 22: Three masked men slaughtered a couple with a sharp-edged weapon here on Sunday.
The assailants forced their into the house of Ilahi Bukhsh as soon as he opened the door. Taking in the situation, Ilahi’s wife raised an alarm and threw her one-and-a-half-year old baby to neighbours, but no one came to their help.
The intruders overpowered the couple and slit open their throats. Later, they chopped off their heads and escaped on a motorcycle.
Police said killers were the brothers of the slain woman who had contracted the love marriage some three years ago.
