Club plans events
GILGIT, Dec 22: The Karakoram Adventure Club, in its annual general body meeting on Sunday, chalked out a plan for arranging various events in 2003.
Organizer of the club, Raja Hussain Khan Maqpoon, said the events would encompass training camps, trekking, mountaineering and high altitude climbing training at Nanga Parbat base camp.
The club had also planned Haralee Peak Expedition and Shereebadat Research Expedition, he said.
Maqpoon said the programmed were aimed at boosting tourism in the Northern Areas.
