SHIKARPUR, Dec 21: Farmers were given presentations on paddy thresher at the Siddiqui Farm, near Gaheja, and at the Uzair Soomro Farm, near Shikarpur, on Friday and Saturday.

The presentations were arranged by the Pakistan Agriculture Research Council, in collaboration with the Farm Institution of Machinery, Sindh, and the ADBP, Shikarpur region.

The farmers were told about the functioning and benefits of the thresher.

Talking to farmers, agricultural officers said it was not possible to thresh the paddy crop soon after its harvesting as the threshing of the crop was usually done after wheat sowing.
