Two die in accidents

KHAIRPUR, Dec 21: Two persons were killed and two injured in four accidents in Khairpur district during the last 24 hours, ending on Saturday evening.

A motorcyclist, Atta Hussain, was seriously injured when his motorcycle slipped on Ahmedpur Road, Kingri taluka, on Saturday. He died on his way to the hospital.

His companion, Abdul Hameed Maitlo, who was also injured, was admitted to a local hospital.

In the second incident, two motorcyclists namely Sajid Ali and Wazeer Ahmed were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles on Hussain Bukhsh Dasti Road, Thari Mirwah Taluka.

Sajid, 25, died while being shifted to a Nawabshah hospital whereas Wazeer was admitted to a Thari Mirwah hospital.
