Jafer hammers century

KARACHI, Dec 17: A dashing 125 by left-handed Jafer Qureshi, enabled Afzal Sports lift the Ford & Lord Trophy beating Hill Park CC by three runs on Tuesday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Afzal Sports reached 221 for five wickets through Jafar’s class knock which contained nine fours and seven sixes.

Hill Park ended up three runs short at 219 for seven wickets.

Jafer Qureshi besides being named the Man-of-the-Match was also declared the Best Batsman, while Shakeel Anwer was declared the best bowler.
