Shahid to lead Dadu

HYDERABAD, Dec 16: First class cricketer Shahid Qambrani has been named as skipper of 25 members cricket squad of district Dadu while Akhtar Bangash will act be his deputy in the team in Quaid-e-Azam Grade-I cricket tournament, scheduled to start from Dec 21, at various centres of the country.

Munir Soomro, Rana Sajjad Hussain, Ghulam Hussain Burfat and Dr, Abdul Hafeez Arain have been named as manager, tour manager, coach and physiotherapist of the team.

A training camp is in progress at Niaz Stadium Hyderabad while before participation in the tournament, the team will also attend the training camp at Customs Cricket Academy under supervision of Test cricketer Jalaluddin.

Dadu has been placed in Group-II along with ABL, PWD, KCCA (W), Multan and Bahawalpur and is due to to play its first match against PWD at UBL Ground No.1 Karachi on Dec 21.
