KARACHI, Dec 16: The vice-chancellor, University of Karachi, Dr Zafar Saied Saify, has stressed the need for setting up more libraries in the age of information explosion, saying that rapid access to knowledge was possible only through the use of information technology.
Speaking at a seminar on “The Role of Libraries in the Modern Era”, organized by the Defence Central Library on Monday, he said the KU would provide all available resources to develop libraries in the city. Dr S.M. Aqil Burney also spoke.—PPI
