CHITTAGONG (Bangladesh), Dec 15: Bangladesh face a difficult task of avoiding defeat in the second and final Test against the West Indies at M.A. Aziz Stadium starting Monday

Bangladesh have lost 15 of 16 Tests since their induction into Test cricket two years ago, a solitary draw coming in a truncated match against Zimbabwe.

Rain rescued the team from further humiliation during a three-match one-day series against the West Indies before the Tests, as the opening match here was washed out.

The West Indies won the one-day series 2-0 and then humiliated the home side by an innings and 310 runs in the first Test.

Bangladesh captain Khaled Mashud was hoping to put up a fight in the second Test but was unhappy with frequent changes to the team.

“It would have been wise to field the Test team that played in South Africa in September,” said Mashud.
