SUKKUR, Dec 15: A man, Mohammad Hassan Noonari, was arrested on Sunday for killing his wife, Ghafooran, in Thul about a month back.

The woman’s father, Sohrab Noonari, had submitted an application to the civil judge, Thul, that he suspected that his daughter had been killed.

Her husband had cited that she had been bitten by a snake which resulted in her death.

The civil judge ordered that the woman’s body be exhumed and a team of four doctors, constituted in Larkana, examine the body and submit a report stating the actual cause of her death.

The doctors submitted a report on Saturday stating that she had been killed with a sharp weapon.
