The chief minister said that he went to Dera Bugti to thank the JWP chief for extending support to him on the occasion of his election as leader of the House and seeking vote of confidence.

Mr Yousaf said that he also discussed other matters and assured Mr Bugti that he would take up the gas issue with the petroleum ministry.

About the presence of forces in Sui, the chief minister said that the paramilitary personnel were deployed for the protection of the people. The government could depute forces anywhere if needed, he added.
