In-form Arsalan on goal spree

LAHORE, Dec 13: Five goals by in-form Arsalan Najib including a hat trick enabled Sindh Horse to enter the final of the December Cup polo tournament, defeating Avtex Media 6-2 in last league match Friday.

Arslan posed a serious threat from the very beginning of the game, scoring his first four goals before the end of the second chukker. He slammed in his first goal in the first chukker to gave Sindh Horse a 1-0 lead.

Hamid levelled the score for Avtex (1-1) converting a spot penalty hit near the goalpost. From there onwards, Araslan produced a splendid form scoring three goals in the row to also complete his hat trick.

Faaz Rahim Khan scored a goal for the winners in the third chukker before Hussain Iftikhar struck a goal for Avtex.

In the final chukker only a goal was scored when Arsalan crowned a field effort to make the tally.

Sindh Horse will meet Lahori Knight in the final on Sunday.
