KARACHI, Dec 11: The Karachi police arrested on Wednesday 10 accused involved in murder, attempt to murder and dacoity cases, a Capital City Police press release said.

Police arrested Muzaffar and Jehanzaib and recovered two TT pistols from their possession. They killed Mohammed Tariq and his wife when they put up resistance to a robbery attempt in their house in Orangi Town.

Police arrested accused Qayyum, Ashfaq and Imran and recovered TT pistols from their possession. They were booked for injuring a marriage hall watchman, Mohammed Haji, when he asked them not to smoke drugs on the premises of a marriage hall in the police limits of Civil Lines.

Police arrested three men after an exchange of fire in Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

Police, on tip-off, raided a KDA flat in Gulshan-i-Iqbal where they opened fire on a police party. They were arrested and two TT pistols were recovered from their possession.
