Temperature falls below zero

ISLAMABAD, Dec 9: Mercury plunged one degree below the freezing point in Islamabad on Monday.

The met office reported zero degree Celsius in Rawalpindi, while the highest temperature was recorded at 24.6.

Astore, the earthquake affected area in the Northern Areas, remained the coldest spot with temperature recorded at -10 degree Celsius followed by Kalam with -9.

The met office has forecast mainly dry and cold weather in most parts of the country.—APP
