Mercury drops to minus 10° in Quetta

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Dec 5: The people of Quetta experienced the coldest night of the current winter season as temperature here dropped to minus 10 degree centigrade in the wee hours of Wednesday night.

The chilly Siberian winds, which started blowing on Tuesday badly, hit the provincial capital, and northern and southern parts of Balochistan.

According the meteorological department, this cold wave will continue till the next 48 hours.

However, the chilly winds could not stop people from coming out of their houses for Eid shopping. All main bazaars of Quetta remained flooded with shoppers on Thursday.
