QUETTA, Dec 5: Three rockets were exploded near the gas pipeline in the Sui area late Wednesday night, officials said.

Sources said unknown miscreants fired three rockets from mountains which landed and exploded near the pipeline supplying gas to the main plant from the Sui gas field.

“The pipeline remained safe and no damage is reported,” the sources told this correspondent by telephone from Sui.

The culprits fled after firing rockets.
