By Our Staff Reporter

RAWALPINDI, Dec 5: The federal information minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, has claimed that there is a complete press freedom in the country and the press should also show responsibility while portraying the image of anyone.

Speaking at Meet-the-Press programme at Rawalpindi Press Club on Thursday, he said the MQM had returned to its old stance of supporting the Jamali government and the MMA was also expected to change its policy.

Defending the split in political parties and formation of forward bloc in People’s Party, he said: “If some politicians want to save democracy, it is not bad and it is their right. He also invited the PML-N to come forward in support of the government.
