PCB’s media guide valuable document

Published December 5, 2002

LAHORE, Dec 4: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) last week published its media guide for the 2002-2003 season that, for a change, is a well-researched and comprehensive document with all relevant information available.

Unlike last year’s this year’s media guide has all the details updated and accurate. Overall it is a good and comprehensive exercise.

The most impressive chapter in the media guide was its updated list of all the top officials of the other cricket boards including the ICC.

This year’s media guide also gives a clear picture about panel of umpires, referees and scorers along with their telephones that are essential for journalists.

Similarly the draws of the domestic competitions and Pakistan’s international commitments till the Sri Lankan tour are also of invaluable help.—APP
