2 killed, 32 injured in road accident

MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 4: At least two people were killed and 32 others were injured in a road accident in the southern Poonch district of Azad Kashmir on Wednesday.

Police sources here said a Hajira-bound passenger bus (AJKC-680), coming from Rawalpindi, had plunged into a ditch near the Pubbay Nad village.

As a result, two persons— identified as Mohammad Naseer, son of Kamal Khan, and Mohammad Ibrar, son of Mohammad Iftikhar— had died on the spot.

Eight of the 32 injured were stated to be in critical condition.—Staff Correspondent
