By Our Correspondent

DERA ISMAIl KHAN, Dec 4: The team constituted to hold an inquiry into the breach occurred in the super passage of the Chashma Right Bank Canal near the Juma Sharif village in October, has failed to meet the deadline.

Set up by the Wapda chairman, the team had to fix the responsibility for the damage caused by the breach on the concerned authorities and submit its report latest by Nov 25. However, the report is still awaited.

Sources in the department claimed that the team members were trying to shift the blame from the senior officers to the low-grade employees.
