SUKKUR, Dec 4: The body of a girl, who was kidnapped in Daharki on Sept 25, was recovered near the Jinnah Hospital, Karachi, on Wednesday.

The parents of the deceased girl, Sobia Ishrat, were informed about the discovery of her body by the Karachi police on telephone.

On Sept 25, five armed men kidnapped Ishrat when she was returning from her college.

The maternal uncle of the girl, Zahoor Ahmad, who was present on the occasion, identified the kidnappers and informed her father, Ishrat Ali Arain.

Arain lodged an FIR with the Daharki police station against Mustufa Buriro, Ameer Ahmad Buriro, Allah Wasayo, Munir Ahmad and Mohammad Ali.

The police arrested Ameer but failed to find a clue to the kidnapped girl and the other accused.

The father of the girl has appealed to the prime minister to take notice of the matter and order arrest of the culprits.

ASSAULT: An eight-year old girl, A, was gang-raped by three men at Gulistan Street here on Wednesday.

Three men forcibly took her to a buffalo pen and gang-rapped her.

She was taken to a hospital where the doctors confirmed the rape.

Her father lodged an FIR against Tariq Ali And two others. The police picked up Ali from his house while the two other accused are at large.
