KARACHI, Dec 4: A free mobile dispensary of the Hamdard Foundation was inaugurated by DCO Shafiqur Rehman Paracha at the Shifaul Mulk Memorial Hospital on Wednesday.
The dispensary will provide free medical facility to the 38 surrounding villages of Madinatul Hikmah, it was stated.
The DCO also performed ground-breaking of the second phase of Hamdard Village School building, which provides free educational facilities to the children of the villages.
Mr Paracha later participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony, organized by the Hamdard Village School on 27th Ramazan, the day when Pakistan was created in 1366 Hijri.
The DCO paid tribute to the personality and services of Hakim Mohammad Said and said the best way to remember him is that we should improve the services and promote the works undertaken by the late Hakim for the welfare and betterment of the people.
“The sapling of virtues grows and spreads by itself thus the city of education and culture - Madinatul Hikmah - is growing and the circle of Hakim Said’s services is spreading,” he added.—APP
