ISLAMABAD, Dec 3: Nasim Zehra, member National Kashmir Committee, on Tuesday tendered her resignation.
In a letter to the committee chairman, the copy of which was also sent to the chief of staff to the president, Lt-Gen Hamid Nawaz (retired), she said after the installation of elected government, the need for the committee should be re- examined.
“Given that an elected parliament is in place, I believe that the elected government should examine the need and subsequently decide on the structure and membership of a National Kashmir Committee,” she said.
