HYDERABAD, Dec 3: The DCO has expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of private computer centres, associated with government colleges.
He said private computer centres would be replaced with government computer centres with qualified teaching staff from the next academic year.
The DCO, Mir Hussain Ali, was presiding over a meeting of the information technology committee here on Monday.
He said computer training, being imparted to the students of secondary and higher secondary schools, was not up to the mark as the equipment was sub-standard and instructors did not have required qualifications.
The DCO informed the meeting 17 MSc (Computer Science) lecturers were already available in different colleges.
He directed the EDO, education, to monitor private computer training institutions to get the desired results.
