KARACHI, Dec 3: Elections of the office-bearers of the Arts Council will be held on Dec 22.
According to a press release, the last date for the submission of nomination papers is Dec 9. These papers will be whetted on Dec 10. The nomination papers may be withdrawn by 3pm on Dec 12.
The final list of the candidates will be displayed on the Arts Council’s notice board on Dec 13. And polling will begin half an hour after the Council’s general body meeting, to be held on Dec 22 at 10am.
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the DCO of Karachi, who is the Arts Council’s ex-officio president, added the release.
