ISLAMABAD, Dec 3: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has allowed exporters to claim duty drawback on export of modal fibre yarn to boost its exports.
The payment of duty drawback would be effective from December 2, 2002, said a Customs notification issued on Tuesday.
The payment of duty drawback would be Rs6.09 per kg on export of modal fibre yarn (made from 100 per cent modal fibre); Rs3.94 per kg on modal fibre yarn (made from 65 per cent modal and 35 per cent cotton); Rs3.05 per kg on modal fibre yarn (made from 50 per cent modal and 50 per cent cotton); Rs1.83 per kg on modal fibre yarn (made from 30 per cent modal and 70 per cent cotton) and Rs0.91 per kg on modal fibre yarn (made from 85 per cent modal and 15 per cent cotton), respectively.
