Loan accord signed with Norway

ISLAMABAD, Dec 2: Pakistan and Norway on Monday signed an agreement for rescheduling of a loan of 32.367 million dollars which will now be payable in 23 years including a grace period of five years.

The agreement was signed by Secretary of Economic Affairs Dr Waqar Masood Khan and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway Mr Tore Toreg.

This is the 8th bilateral agreement on rescheduling arrangements under the Paris Club Agreed Minutes of Dec 13, 2001, which had been signed with the Paris Club Creditors, an official announcement said.
