KARACHI: SBTE exam results

KARACHI, Nov 30: The Sindh Board of Technical Education on Saturday announced the results of Diploma of Associate Engineer first-year (evening) annual examinations 2001, with a pass percentage of 52.62.

According to a SBTE notification, as many as 3,510 candidates had taken the exams, out of whom 1,847 were declared pass. Results of 63 candidates were withheld.

The Govt College of Technology sent up candidates in ten technologies, the highest number, and its overall pass percentage remained 39.95.

The maximum pass percentage was achieved by YMCA Polytechnic Institute, which had sent 17 students in two technologies.
