Rs3m Eid package
SKARDU, Nov 29: Over Rs3 million would be distributed among the needy people of the Ghangche district, Baltistan.
The district Zakat committee chairman handed over the cheques to the chairmen of the local Zakat committees of the Ghangche district at a meeting held here.
The chairman told the local Zakat committees that the fund had been approved under the Eidul Fitr package and would be distributed among the poor people who were not getting the Guzara Allowance.
The chairman informed the meeting that the Central Zakat Council had also approved a rehabilitation package for the downtrodden and disabled people of the area to start their businesses at small scale.
