Two tribesmen killed

SUKKUR, Nov 28: Two Shar tribesmen were killed by a group of armed men in the Sadiq Shar village near Daharki on Thursday.

Saboo, son of Begar, and Ali Asghar, son of Ahmad, were sitting in their shop in the village when the armed men, reportedly of the Shar tribe, shot at them.

The police registered a case against union council Nazim Kakoo Shar and 12 others, including Hayat, Hussain Mohammad, Noor Mohammad, Khadim, Amin, Niaz, Sharif, Geevano, Jawayo Shar.

BODIES: Six bodies were recovered from the Indus River on Thursday, police sources told Dawn on telephone from Gudu.

Seven bodies are still missing.

Sources said the 62 gates of the Guddu Barrage had rema-ined closed throughout the day for the recovery drive.

The bodies of Abdul Shakoor and his mother, Rahim Bux, Mittho, Tayyab, and Mohammad Bux were recovered.—BoC
