HYDERABAD, Nov 28: The district Benevolent Fund Board, at a meeting here on Thursday, sanctioned 273 cases of government officials for financial aid out of the Benevolent Fund.

Out of the 273 cases, the board sanctioned 90 cases of monthly financial aid, 72 cases of marriage expenses, 45 cases of medical aid and 52 cases of funeral expenses.

Besides, six time barred cases were recommended to the provincial board for condoning the delay and five cases of family aid, referred by the provincial board, were sanctioned by the district board in the meeting.

The board meeting was presided over by the DCO, Hyderabad, Mir Hussain Ali, and attended by the EDO, revenue, the EDO, finance, and the EDO, education.
