SUKKUR, Nov 27: At least 13 people, travelling in a Kashmor-bound wagon, were feared drowned on Wednesday evening when it plunged into the River Indus at Guddu Barrage.

Two bodies were recovered by villagers and policemen, who arrived at the scene after almost an hour.

Seven passengers managed to swim to the river bank. The wagon (R-0082) had originated from Mirpur Mathelo.

The vehicle skidded and fell into the river after the driver lost control half way on the barrage.

Only one body was identified as Mohammad Bakhsh, son of Samano.
