KARACHI, Nov 25: A meeting of the Task Force on the Promotion of Tourism in Sindh was held under the chairmanship of the provincial secretary for culture and tourism, Ashique Hussain Memon, at Hindu Gymkhana.

The meeting was attended by Nawab Saifuddin Leghari, a member of the board of district STDC; Syed Arshad Ali, chairman of the Pakistan Hotels Association; Mr Qureshi, chairman Pakistan Travel & Tour Operators Association; Abdul Razzak Abbasi, DCO Dadu; director culture and other representatives concerned of the planning & development, irrigation & power and communication & works departments.

Speaking on the occasion, the secretary culture highlighted the aims and objectives of the task force and said that the government was serious in promoting the tourism sites available in Sindh.—APP
