Power to AJK being cut today

GUJRANWALA, Nov 24: The Gujranwala Electric Power Company has decided to suspend power supply to AJK from the Bhimber grid station on Monday for Rs100 million default.

The Bhimber grid, which falls under Gepco supplies power to government offices, domestic and commercial consumers in several parts of AJK.

Company chief executive, Brig Saifullah Khalid, said the action was being taken as the AJK government had failed to clear dues.
