NOWSHERA, Nov 23: The provincial president of the Muttahida Labour Federation and provincial chairman of the Pakistan Workers Confederation, Mohammed Iqbal, has stressed upon the newly elected government to abolish the contract system in the factories.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said that the factory owners had started employing new workers on contracts depriving them of many incentives.
He demanded to the government to provide justice and legal rights to the poor labourers who were facing various problems due to the contract system.—APP
