LAHORE, Nov 22: Test wicket-keeper Rashid Latif who was forced to return home with a troublesome back from the tour of Zimbabwe was declared fit by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) panel of doctors after intensive 90 minutes workout Friday.
According to PCB a spokesman, Rashid was given a vigorous workout at a private fitness centre.” The fitness report will be submitted to PCB on Saturday and then passed on to the national selectors who are to name the side for the tour to South Africa,” he said.
Rashid went to Zimbabwe fully fit but declared himself unfit on arrival there citing troubling neck injury which was described as even life threatening.—APP
