Pak Gym in semifinal

KARACHI, Nov 19: Pak Gymkhana were the first team to book a berth in the semifinal of the Sixth Nehal Siddiqui Ramazan cricket festival, beating Ansari Sports Tuesday.

Batting first, Ansari Sports did well in reaching 165 for six wickets in 20 overs, through Mansha (60) and Amir Shah (28). Azeem Ashraf bagged two for 20 and Ali Abbas two for 37.

With opening batsman Imran Nawaz leading the way with an entertaining unbeaten 87 runs with 10 boundaries and a six and Imran Ahmed hammering 60 runs which included six fours, Pak Gymkhana raced to an eight-wicket victory while scoring 167 for two in only 15.2 overs. Sajjid picked up both wickets that fell for 29 runs.
