RAWALPINDI, Nov 19: A special flight carrying 75 deported Pakistanis is scheduled to arrive here from Spain on Wednesday at 11am, an official source said.

More than 100 Pakistanis, detained in the United States in wake of September 11 attacks, are also arriving here by a special flight the same day at 7am, the source said.

A list, comprising particulars and identifications of 75 Pakistanis, has been provided to immigration authorities, the source said.

He added that 75 illegal immigrants entered Spain via Morocco, apparently in search of jobs, but had been arrested by the Spanish authorities.

Meanwhile, another flight, carrying deported Pakistanis, would arrive here from Spain on November 29, the source said. The deported persons would be accompanied by the US and Spanish security staff, who would hand them over to Pakistani authorities at Islamabad airport.

According to a senior official of Pakistan immigration, none of the 75 deported persons had any link with the crackdowns launched after September 11 incident.
