Clearance

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has allowed the facility of clearance after 6 pm to beverage manufacturing units.

According to the Central Excise notification issued on Monday, the provision of sub-rule (1) shall not apply to all cement factories and those beverage manufacturing units falling in the jurisdiction of Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi.

Provided that clearance by the beverage manufacturing units after 6 pm would be monitored by the collectorate and if any misuse of facility was reported, the same should be discontinued forthwith, added the notification.
