GUJRAT, Nov 17: A rickshaw driver died while two others were injured in an accident on GT Road near Kunjah intersection on Sunday.
Reportedly, a speeding truck (HG-9154), on its way to Servis Morr, rammed into three stationary rickshaws (FDB-1291, LXG 7943). As a result driver Shaukat Pervaiz died instantly while two other drivers — Naeem and Kashif — sustained injuries. The injured were admitted to the DHQ hospital where their condition was stated to be critical. A-division police have registered a case against the absconding truck driver.
MURDER: A man shot dead his wife over a domestic dispute in Jataria, Lalamusa, on Sunday.
Reportedly, Shahbaz Ahmad opened fire on Rehana Kausar and fled. Lalamusa Sadar police have registered a case.
