KARACHI: Dangerous flies invade Cattle Colony

KARACHI, Nov 16: Unhygienic conditions in the Cattle Colony, Landhi, have resulted in the eruption of a dangerous species of flies causing great inconvenience to people and cattle.

The office-bearers of the Dairy Farmers Association of Karachi, in a press release here on Saturday, cited these flies to be bigger in size than what is normally seen. Those stung by the flies feel extreme pain and experience bleeding.

The cattle stung by them are also reported to be severely infected and remain in immense pain for quite some time. Their capacity to milk is also severely affected.—APP
