By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Nov 15: Five goals by Shah Qublai Alam including the match-winner enabled Global Telecom to beat NBC 7-6, in the semifinal of the Global Telecom Cup Polo Friday.

For  the winning side, Jamal Iftikhar scored  the  remaining two goals.

For  the  losers,  Sufi Haris played well  and  scored  four goals. Hussain Iftikhar added two goals.

Qublai  caught up with NBC twice to level the score at  2-2  and then 3-3 before his side went ahead for the first time during the third  chukker.  Jamal scored a field goal for them to  make it 4-3. But the lead was short lived as Hussain scored two  goals in quick succession to again take a 5-4 lead for NBC.
