3 oil firm engineers kidnapped

SUKKUR, Nov 15: Three employees of a multinational oil and gas company were kidnapped by armed dacoits, near Salehpat, Sukkur district, on Friday.

The DIG, Sukkur, Mushtaq Shah, confirmed the incident to this correspondent.

Syed Adnan Naim (engineer), Kauser Abbas (electrical engineer), and Mohammed Siddique (safety engineer) of the Choondko Oil Gas Company were returning to the Salehpat base camp from work in their vehicle. Near Salehpat, the dacoits intercepted their vehicle and kidnapped all three employees at gunpoint.
