Three kidnapped

By Our Correspondent

SUKKUR, Nov 15: Three persons, including two young boys, were kidnapped from the Airport Road in Sukkur the other day.

According to reports, Qadir Baksh, 30, son of Rasool Baksh Jamali, and Khadim, 15, son of Hazoor Bakhsh Jamali and Imtiaz, 16, son of Suleman Jamali, were kidnapped by six armed persons.

The armed persons were later identified as Pehalwan, Jeal, Khan, Bashir, Murad, Wahab and Mst Hasina, daughter of Amir bakhsh Jamali.

They were kidnapped while they were on their way to Karachi from Garhi Yaseen in a Datsun pick-up.

Later, they threw the boys, with their hands tied, near Nooriabad and took away Qadir Bakhsh.

The two boys managed to reach their home on Thursday and disclosed the details of the kidnapping incident.

One of their relatives, Nawab Jamali, said that four years ago Qadir Bakhsh was accused of having illicit relations with Sakina, a resident of Hyderabad, who was killed by her brothers.

Later, a Jirga had imposed a fine amounting to Rs220,000 on Qadir Baksh.

He was on his way to Karachi with the money.

It is suspected that he would be killed.

Qadir Bakhsh also said that they would not have known about the incident if the boys had not returned.
