KARACHI: 3 Muttahida workers acquitted

KARACHI, Nov 15: An additional district and sessions judge, West, Ms Naseem Mansoor, acquitted on Friday two workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in a murder case.

Mohammed Akram and Mohammed Farooq were prosecuted for killing a woman, Mohammedi Begum, on November 4, 1994 in the police limits of Orangi Town.

The judge acquitted the two men of the murder charge for want of incriminating evidence against them.

Besides, another worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was acquitted in a case pertaining to resorting to violence.

An additional district and sessions judge, West, Sagheer Rana, acquitted Razzaq of all charges as the prosecution could establish its case against him.
